Is there an age limit to who can join the classes?

Not at all. Anyone from any age group or gender can come to the classes and will be able to accommodate well with the community as well as Parul.

Are these female-only sessions or can men join too?

Absolutely all genders are welcome to the classes. Kathak is cherished by men and women both as the guru of Kathak Pandit Birju Maharaj (who was also my teacher) was a man himself.

I do not have time to practice. Can I still join the classes?

Yes. You do not need to practice at all to be a part of my online kathak classes. The sessions are completely beginner-friendly, you will feel the joy and happiness while dancing. If you feel like practising, you can but it is not mandatory. We can all take our time and first learn to enjoy the dance.

I am a working professional. Can I join these sessions?

I have made these classes especially for the working professionals who want to find peace and respite in the midst of their busy schedules. You can connect with your joy and inner child again with Kathak. If you are working then I encourage you to try these sessions and see how they bring you happiness as well as health and positive elevation in life.

Is Kathak hard to learn?

Kathak is the easiest art form to learn because of the systems and beginner-friendly routines that have been formed by Pt. Birju Maharaj as well as the teachers who have followed his guidance. It has been broken down into extremely easy steps. It is easy to learn and just needs time, patience and a few sessions with the right mentor. I ensure that I take you through the process of how the movements work, how to gracefully play with your body and make it easy and fun for you to progress without any stress. So please do not worry and come with an open heart and let us dance together.

Will I have to give any exam?

No, there will be no examination. Only- classes are practice sessions together to make your heart happy and help you get better at your Kathak.

Is this a lifetime membership?

While the webinar is a one-time session, we do offer a lifetime diamond package which is the most loved by our community and people where we do regular dance sessions together and I give you new choreography every month. I also give you one to one time so that I can refine your craft in-person.
